is a white two story building.
The railroad track runs
behind the studio, if you
cross the tracks you have
gone too far.

|Joyce Slate Triche received the
2009 Business Leader of the Year Award
from the King Chamber of Commerce at their
awards banquet held on November,12 2009.

floats in the King Christmas parade on
December 3, 2016
|Students performed at the Stokes Stomp on September 10, 2016. This outdoor festival was sponsored by the Stokes County Arts Council. It took place at
Moratock Park in Danbury. See action pictures in the performance gallery.
On October 1, 2016 jazz, lyrical, ballet and acrobatics students performed at Kingfest which was held at Central Park in King. See action pictures in the
performance gallery. Kingfest is sponsored by the King Chamber of Commerce.
From September 12- October 8, 2016, 31 students participated in our "A Dancer Reads" contest. Over 23,589 pages of dance related books were read. Seven
students read more than 950 pages. As winners of our contest, they received a custom designed t-shirt, a reading duck, and roses or balloons. Mckrnzie was
crowned our reading Queen on October 24. She read 8,361 pages. She received a crown, a bouquet of roses, a t-shirt,and a reading duck..Certificates for all
participants were given by the King Public Library.
October 10-15,2016 Bring a Friend Week Article in the October 13 edition of The Stokes News
October 22,2016 Four students participated in the Cystic Fibrosis Flip-a-thon. $325.00 was raised for Cystic Fibrosis research.
On October 31,2016 more than 740 children received treats as part of the Downtown Trick or Treat. About 92 went through the "Not Too Scary" Haunted House.
On November 5-6, 2016 Jesse Morris and Joyce Triche attended the Carolina Dance Masters, Inc. convention held at the Koury Convention center in
Greensboro. They took several hours of master classes and attended the grand body meeting of Carolina Dance Masters, Inc. Both received their continuing
education certificates for 2016.
December 3, 2016 students participated in the King Christmas parade. See pictures of all three parades on our parade season page
December 4, 2016 the Rural Hall Christmas Parade posponed due to weather
December 10, 2016 students participated in the Walnut Cove Christmas Parade
December 17, 2016 Christmas party for all students was held at the studio.
December 29, 2016 Students performed at Priddy Manor Assisted Living for the residents and their families
January 14 - February 25, 2017 Snowflake Classes were held ending with an Open House demonstration and reception
February 11,2017- Miss Jesse and I attended the Carolina Dance Masters Winter Convention and took several hours of master classes
March 25-26, 2017 6 routines competed in the Tri State Dance Contest in Asheville, NC.
April 22, 2016 32 students and family members attended The Wizard of Oz production at Twin City Stage in Winston. One of our students was in the cast.
April 25-30, 2016 We celebrated National Dance Week by bring our friends to class and sharing homemade cookies and lemonade
April 30, 2016 Information booth and demonstration of preschool classes at Little Folks Festival Action Pictures
May 14, 2016 Meet Me on Main sponsored by the King Chamber of Commerce. We performed and made the front page of the May 19 edition of The Stokes

On June 4, 2016 Spring Production Flowers was held at the Stevens Center of the University of North Carolina School of the Arts
