The studio is on the left 2/3
the way down the block. It
is a white two story building.
The railroad track runs
behind the studio, if you
cross the tracks you have
gone too far.

|Joyce Slate Triche received the
2009 Business Leader of the Year Award
from the King Chamber of Commerce at their
awards banquet held on November,12 2009.
|Our float won 3rd place for commercial
floats in the King Christmas parade on
December 5, 2015
|Students performed at the Stokes Stomp on September 12, 2015. This outdoor festival was sponsored by the Stokes County Arts Council. It took place at
Moratock Park in Danbury. See action pictures in the performance gallery.
From September 14- October 17, 2015, 29 students participated in our "A Dancer Reads" contest. Over 15,492 pages of dance related books were read. Six
students read more than 600 pages. As winners of our contest, they received a custom designed t-shirt, a reading duck, and roses. Melody was crowned our
reading Queen on October 28. She read 4,430 pages. She received a crown, a bouquet of roses, a t-shirt,and a reading duck..Certificates for all participants were
given by the King Public Library.
On October 31,2015 more than 700 children received treats as part of the Downtown Trick or Treat. About 90 went through the "Not Too Scary" Haunted
On November 7, 2015, several students participated in the rescheduled Kingfest outdoor festival sponsored by King Chamber of Commerce at Central park in
King. We did make the front page of the Nov. 12 edition of The Stokes News with our performance.
On November 14-15, 2015 Laila and Jesse joined Joyce Triche in attending the Carolina Dance Masters, Inc. annual convention held at the Koury Convention
center in Greensboro. They took several hours of master classes. Jesse Morris and Joyce Triche attended the grand body meeting of Carolina Dance Masters, Inc.
December 5, 2015 students participated in the King Christmas parade. See pictures of all three parades on our parade season page

December 20, 2014 Christmas party for all students was held at the studio.
December 29, 2015 Students performed at Priddy Manor Assisted Living for the residents and their families
January 9- February 27, 2016 Snowflake Classes were held ending with an Open House demonstration and reception
February 6,2016- Miss Jesse and I attended the Carolina Dance Masters Winter Convention and took several hours of master classes
March 4-5, 2016 7 routines competed in the Carolina Dance Masters, Inc. Performing Arts Competition in Charlotte, NC. Action Pictures
April 22, 2016 32 students and family members attended The Wizard of Oz production at Twin City Stage in Winston. One of our students was in the cast.
April 25-30, 2016 We celebrated National Dance Week by bring our friends to class and sharing homemade cookies and lemonade
April 30, 2016 Information booth and demonstration of preschool classes at Little Folks Festival Action Pictures
May 14, 2016 Meet Me on Main sponsored by the King Chamber of Commerce. We performed and made the front page of the May 19 edition of The Stokes

On June 4, 2016 Spring Production Flowers was held at the Stevens Center of the University of North Carolina School of the Arts
